Laminated Glass

Laminated Glass, commonly referred to as Sandwich Glass or Laminated Safety Glass, is a high-performance composite safety glass product composed of two or more pieces of glass (float glass, tempered glass, ultra-white glass, etc.) and one or more layers of organic polymer interlayer (such as PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc.) sandwiched between them. Through special high-temperature pre-pressing (or vacuum pumping) and high-temperature and high-pressure processing technology, the glass and the interlayer are permanently bonded into an integral structure, forming a composite glass with excellent safety and comprehensive performance. Unlike ordinary glass that shatters into sharp fragments when broken, Laminated Glass will not scatter fragments even if it is impacted and broken; the broken glass fragments will be firmly adhered to the interlayer, maintaining the integrity of the glass as a whole, thus fundamentally avoiding safety hazards such as fragment injury and falling objects.

Our Laminated Glass selects high-purity float glass, tempered glass or ultra-white glass as the base material, and matches high-quality interlayer films that meet international standards. The interlayer film has a refractive index very close to that of glass itself, so the Laminated Glass can maintain the same purity and transparency as ordinary glass, while having far superior safety and functional performance compared with ordinary glass.
